PURPOSES

Relationships

“Co-creating New Creation” starts with strengthening relationships—with our Creator, with one another, with our environments (physical and spiritual), with our societies, and with our past and our future. This requires a process of perpetual reconciliation and a commitment to sit in the tensions of difference to see New Creation emerge through mutual yielding.

Environment

“Co-creating New Creation” is intimately concerned with our environment. A renewed humanity must lead to a renewed physical world. Our full wellbeing depends on healthy habitats and healthy habitats require our wise and just guardianship over all of creation as an interconnected, interdependent living organism. We cannot sustain a utilitarian philosophy of materialism any longer.

Wellbeing

“Co-creating New Creation” will benefit us spiritually, physically, and psychologically. It is a whole of life approach to wellbeing that is reliant on others to help us live well. This means a strong supportive social life, but that is easier for some than others so we also see the need for pastoral care/chaplaincy support as well as investment in medical research to find long-term solutions for medical conditions.

Connect

Haere Mai  |  Welcome

Here at Mutuality Charitable Trust we’re passionate about making connections between people and their communities, to enhance relationships, especially in situations where diversity can create tensions. We excel at people find innovative ways to promote harmony in their communities through the tuning of those tensions. Scroll on through to find out more.

Commune

He Tangata |  It is People

Basic principles exist that enhance relationships, whether it is between people or organisations. Let us help you better commune with the people you are seeking to serve. Mutuality Charitable Trust works to help people embrace difference and bridge distance to build enduring relationships that are mutually beneficial—reciprocal even. We call that “Co-Creating New Creation”.

Converse

Korero  |  Talking

Our first language came so easily we can dangerously assume that how we converse is satisfactory. We can be wrong, on so many levels. Mutuality Charitable Trust understands that communication is an art in continual need of refining. To connect well with others you need to first know who they are, not just what you want to say.

Community

Whanaungatanga  |  Relating

Building a community is somewhat similar to creating a family. It requires developing a lot of trust and creating something unique together. The role of Mutuality Charitable Trust is like that of a matchmaker and midwife, helping people to connect with their significant others and then assist with the birth of something unique and mutually beneficial from relationships that become whanaunga (a group of trusted friendships).
